Jordan Stolper is CEO and co-founder of New York-based gliider. gliider is a travel research tool that lets you gather travel info from any site on the web and then get then get deals specific to your trip. Launched in October, 2009, gliider now boasts thousands of users and has been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and TechCrunch. Gliider was a finalist at the 2009 PhoCusWright Travel Innovation summit and it was shortlisted for a Globe Travel Innovation Award.
Stolper began his career as a travel journalist, contributing to publications like The New York Times, National Geographic Adventure, Men’s Journal, and The Economist. After experiencing 65 countries and a lot of jetlag, he traded notebook for briefcase to work as a brand and innovation consultant, helping companies like Yahoo!, Travel Channel, NBC, P&G, Coke, Samsung and Gucci Group develop new products and brands to drive topline growth.
Stolper is fluent in Spanish, proficient in French and speaks abysmal Mandarin. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.A. International Affairs, Columbia University.
