I hail from the UK, a source of pride - and sometimes embarrassment. I am fluent in English and a little American. Some years ago, I journeyed out to Seattle where I met Greg, Rich and Sunil while working at Expedia. I headed back to Europe and ran Expedia there before leaving in 2006 and serving on the Expedia Board thru 2009. Subsequently, after some consulting work for travel companies in the UK, I returned to Seattle as Travelpost’s Chief Operating Officer. I love riding my bicycle (Campag not Shimano – if you know bikes you’ll know where that puts me in a whole number of areas) as fast as I can, though it’s never fast enough. Skiing – Courcheval: expensive but superb. Tuscany: beautiful. St James Beach in Barbados; and the little tin fish shack in Zola, Kefalonia: the best place I’ve ever eaten. I also suffer by supporting the (once) Mighty Charlton Athletic Football (that’s proper football) Club.
