Pete is head of the Northeast region of Razorfish, one of the world’s largest and recognized interactive agencies. He oversees the strategic direction and operations of its New York and Boston offices from its 400-person Times Square flagship -- named a top 10 “company to work for” by Outside magazine.
In addition to managing the business, Pete takes a hands-on approach as advisor to many of the agency’s top advertising and web development clients, applying 16 years’ experience as business strategist and e-marketing consultant. Staying engaged in client work is key to his success as GM. He’s been fortunate to work with some of the world’s most loved brands, including Conde Nast, Kodak, Unilever, XM Radio, Victoria’s Secret, Starwood, and The New York Times and has played a part in building some of the biggest new brands such as Hulu.
A 12-plus year veteran of interactive, Pete joined Razorfish in 1996. Since then, he’s steered the agency through three acquisitions, five office moves, a high-tech boom/bust, and a slew of branding changes. Under his leadership, the Northeast region has grown to 400 employees, acquired world-class talent and is poised to become the Agency of the Future. This includes pushing the agency toward non-browser based solutions, including iPhone, Surface and other digital platforms.
Prior to joining Razorfish, he held a variety of executive and client management positions at Scient, KPMG Peat Marwick, and NetResponse.
A frequent speaker at industry events, Pete also taught e-commerce strategy at the University of Maryland School of Business. He is a columnist for iMedia Connection.
Pete holds a B.S. degree from Lehigh University.
