Sophie Forest

Managing Partner, Brightspark Ventures

Sophie Forest is a managing partner at Brightspark Ventures. She has been involved in the venture capital industry for close to 20 years. Prior to joining Brightspark, she held the position of Vice-President Investments at CDP Capital. Sophie was also co-CEO of Brightspark3.0, founer of a number of Internet companies such as Jewlr and IStopOver. Sophie sits on several Board of Directors of software companies namely Jazinga, Protecode, Radian6, b5Media, Openplanes and eXludus Techologies. She also is a member of the Advisory Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ACSBE) of Canada.
